Strandgut
Creativity
Strandgut is an unusual play space for young and old in Berlin-Tempelhof.
  • Open playtime on Fridays 🎲 – Every Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM, families can come by without registration to play, explore, and spend time together.
  • Private group rental – You can also rent Strandgut for smaller private groups, even at short notice, for a fee of about 60 euros (variable depending on group size).
  • Children's area and sand play space – The space offers room for experimenting and playing for different age groups.
  • Events and readings 📖 – Special events take place regularly, such as Christmas readings with storytellers, suitable for children aged 6 and up, and free entry (donations welcome).
  • Treasure chamber with new equipment – A recently renovated room with a new kitchen, countertop, sink, and water connection, as well as custom-built furniture, is available.
Strandgut is a creation of Ute Strub and is managed by Patricia, Andrea, Maxi, and Elisabeth. The space is closed on holidays and takes regular summer breaks – current opening hours can be found on the website. Donations support ongoing work and help keep the play space open and lively.
