The Pinke-Panke Children's Farm is a pedagogically supervised playground for school children between the ages of 7 and 14 in Pankow, where rural life becomes tangible in the midst of the big city.
- Supervision by qualified staff – The caregivers act as advisors and partners to the children and support their overall personality development.
- Animal care 🐴 – The children take care of the farm animals and learn about natural cycles and interconnections.
- Craft activities – Old craft techniques are playfully tried out and taught.
- Nature observation 🌿 – Direct encounters with natural elements promote primary experiences.
- Workshop – Creativity and craftsmanship skills are fostered.
- Fire pit – A place for joint activities and adventures.
- Group offers – Projects and meetings for multiple children together.
- Events – Regular events for the community.
- Open play area – Space for free movement and motor development.
The Pinke-Panke Children's Farm is designed by the children themselves. Our guiding principle is: The journey is the goal. Voluntariness, changeability, diversity, and openness characterize the work – not perfection, but experimentation and play are at the forefront. The farm is a place of social encounter and integration, open to all interested children, teenagers, and adults.
